Candidates for Board of Directors and District Delegates
As the Annual Election is approaching, it is time to solicit homeowners who would be interested in volunteering to serve as a District Delegate or run for a position on the Board of Directors.  The Annual Election will be held in February 2022. Three (3) positions will be up for election on the Board. Board members serve two-year terms.
Homeowners are needed to volunteer to serve as District Delegates and represent their specific district/tract at the annual meeting (exceptions for Salerno, Tuscany and Paloma Summit).  The position requires you to attend the annual meeting and “carry the votes” for your district to be counted.  Due to changes in association election laws, the Delegate election ballot will be a separate ballot from the Board of Director’s election ballot.  For Delegate elections, if no interest is submitted for a particular district then there will be no election of delegate for that district or if there are less than two names submitted for a district then that candidate will automatically be the delegate.
For owners interested in serving on the Board of Directors, you may ask, "What does a Director do?"  The Board of Directors is composed of representatives elected by the Community Association.  It is the responsibility of the Board to oversee the business of the Association, to approve budgets and in general, to make decisions, which strive for the betterment of the Association.  This is a volunteer position.  Candidates should be aware that the monthly meetings generally run four hours in length.  Attendance is important to ensure full homeowner representation.  In addition, the Board members are called on to arbitrate homeowner concerns and attend special meetings in between regular scheduled Board meetings.
If you are interested in running for the Board of Directors and/or District Delegate, please contact management for the questionnaire or you may submit your own candidacy statement limited to one 8 ½” x 11” page.  You may apply for both positions.  Candidacy statements are due no later than December 3, 2021 at 5:00PM.

The HOA Pool and Clubhouse will be closed starting Monday, April 12, 2021, for the Pool Renovation Project. Click here for details. The renovations are anticipated to take approximately 6 months with a scheduled re-opening of the facilities in October 2021.
We considered postponing the renovation project until after this summer, but the condition of the pool deck and other systems require immediate attention that prevent us from delaying until after the summer.  We are looking forward to completing the Project as soon as possible.  Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve these facilities for our homeowners and their guests to enjoy for years to come.
